The Place Taipei is a stylish brand under the Hotel Royal Group, emphasizing local culture and the spirit of “Fun, Fusion, Fashion.” The first The Place opened in Tainan in 2014, followed by Yilan and Taichung, and The Place Taipei officially opened in 2019. The hotel’s streamlined facade and unique lighting create a distinctive landmark in Nangang. The interior was designed by Mecanoo architecten from the Netherlands, incorporating historical elements such as ports, red bricks, and tea to represent different periods of Nangang’s history. Located at the junction of Nangang and Neihu, The Place Taipei is next to MRT Nangang Software Park Station, with Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center only a 5-minute walk away.
